This episode shocked me! I was expecting a nice, uplifting family drama with some comedy and touching moments, where everyone learns to connect and love each other more at the end of the episode - but instead, it started right off with some unusually creepy scenes, stormy weather, nightmares, Joan seeing weird gothic twins... And a son murdering his own mother. This episode felt more like a standard supernatural mystery drama, which was so strange! I was so invested in it, with both of Joan's parents getting supernatural visions as well, and I have no clue where season 2 is going to go now! I can't believe it ended not only without resolving things, but with Joan being tricked (I assume, by the devil) into believing God doesn't exist. I can't wait to see more!
