I'd love to shove Detroit and all of its inhabitants right up that Detroit cops ass

I liked it. The main villan is no Boyd though. Boyd was all time the best villan - up there with Chuck from Supernatural.

Figured this would trigger the usual folk who'd call this woke. Justified has always dealt with issues of the place it was set in. Coal town and now motor town.

I love everything about this episode, except for the excessive violence.

Can't wait to see Raylen again. I hope lightning will strike twice!

Meh, I’m afraid this is a very bland start. Couldn’t remember a single character except for the asshole cop, the antagonist is not interesting in the slightest, and weirdly enough Raylan isn’t really doing anything it.

It looks like they pumped a lot more budget into this compared to the original series, and the set pieces are much more varied and dynamically shot. But there’s this weird gray fog over most scenes as if they’re desaturated, not a good look at all.

Hope it gets better.

That bad guy isn't even close to being a 'Walter Goggins.

good return, we'll keep watching. So your daughter is your daughter in real life

Aw, I was hoping for another bad folksy rap song intro.

Seeing more Raylan is fun, but this show has its work cut out for it. Boyd Crowder did a lot of heavy lifting on Justified. It will be hard for the show to carry on without him.

Good first episode and I think Timothy and his real life daughter must be close to work together.

I knew all the race talk was going to upset some white folks but we live in a post-George Floyd world. Cop shows are not the same they were before.
I don't mind the change of scenery but the acting from the daughter is atrocious and the main villain looks very generic so far. Let's hope this doesn't turn out like the Dexter revival.
