How convenient that the bad guy criminals decided to talk about how they were going to stab Boyd in the back right at the moment when he enacted his plan to overhear them. Not to mention he was standing like less than 15 feet away just in the other room. Really smart decision all around.
At the end - the cops were literally right outside the house, and the money was still in the bag in the dining room. What the fuck are they supposed to do with it before the cops storm in? They only have like 30 seconds at most.
