While a story of jealousy and entitlement, it's played in a relatable, naive way without condoning it. Plus marvelous animation, both in character work, humor, and the ESPer bike ride. It's also a total, wonderful riff on The Graduate, complete with numerous visual covers and an instrumental version of "Sound of Silence" that I'm shocked they were able to clear for the bluray release. Maybe nobody noticed. I laughed so hard when it kicked in.
