The episode was moving with a nice fight. The father and son talk about Ryan being gay was moving. It just feels like the gay scenes feel forced in with the main story in most CW shows.
Like Sarah Lance constantly mentioning she has a girlfriend out of the blue or her girlfriend announcing she has a girlfriend. Can feel forced and phony, at least in this it was moving.
