The Laurel and Hardy Show is a series of short silent films which later led into talking short films and feature movies with the progression in sound technology. The show revolves around the duo getting into various situations that are often a bit unrealistic and silly. The main focus is on the two disagreeing so often that it got them into trouble on more than one occasion.

Laurel and Hardy are asked to get a coffin for a group of thieves that holds the body of one of their gang. It is a ploy to make money off of his death.
