boy, watching this without the context of the other crossover episodes was a rollercoaster and a half.

dick wolf, please stop shoving OC (and every other DW production) down our throats. you’re making the only show of yours i’m interested in nearly unwatchable (and while you’re at it, bring back barba. like permanently)

let me be honest.... I don't follow the Law and Order franchise for the great performance of the cast members.... I'm only here for the crime and action. There's always a chance of catching an interesting episode, and while thia crossover is kinda lame so far into part 2...for some reason I never give up.

Important note to anyone watching only SVU: you may want to at least check out the third part of this crossover event, in regular Law & Order S22 E1, if you can. Without spoiling too much, an incredibly important character development concerning an SVU character occurs.

This crossover shit is getting ridiculous. Characters from one show appearing in another is fine, but having one story be spread over three separate shows is fucking absurd. And it also runs into the problem where this doesn't even feel like an episode of SVU, because it isn't. This should have just been a three-episode arc of Organized Crime.

EDIT: The first time I watched this, I hadn't seen any of OC before. I figured Vince was some recurring CI character there. Nope! This 3-part arc is the first time he's in the show, and they of course kill him off. It's dumb.

S22E01 Gimme Shelter (III) (Season 22) and not S23 for the chapter "Gimme Shelter" (Part III)
