[5.0/10] Eh, I didn’t really care for this one. They made Finn more of a bumbling buffoon than the movies did. And I know these shorts aren’t exactly canon, but I read Finn’s change of heart as starting when he saw the brutality of the First Order’s attack at Jakku via the bloodshed and scariness of it all. I also took as having less to do with a conscience and more just a sense that this was too much for him and a desire to run away. Making that all start a while before weakens his arc in the original. But whatever, I am assuredly taking a little goofy short that was probably scripted before the movie was totally finished far too seriously. Just not my cup of tea.
