Laura lingering around and telling Andrew what she is planning to do was very unnecessary... If you had already planned all this, just go ahead and do it, you don't have to give him a play by play!!
As for the DI, I was also surprised she just blurted out to Andrew that she knows that he raped her, I thought she would play this differently but I guess her emotions got the best of her, and I don't blame her...
