The quainter, cuter sentiment of older Looney Tunes' shorts just doesn't work for me most of the time and this cartoon is no exception. I believe this is the first appearance of Porky and that's great, but his stuttering is so exaggerated that it's almost impossible to know what he's saying. Other than that, if this short has other standout qualities or ground-breaking items it offers, I'm not picking up on them.
