Not used to seeing Claude the Cat in such a paranoia-free role. He seems to outsmart the mice, at least early, but doesn't react quickly enough to keep them either in his mouth or in his grasp. The scoreless scene when the teenage boy mouse walks into Claude's mouth and then all we hear is him going down a staircase inside Claude is funny, primarily because of the sound effects. Claude getting whooped on by the bulldog and then seen with a card table over his head, flipping playing cards in the air is animation gold.
