This episode have a potencial to develop into a full movie. Very good concept, animate style and character.
The ending is pretty good.
really enjoy this one
this episode did a great job of making you care about these characters
in the weight of everything happening
this is a very epic episode focused around a not-so-epic theme
This is literally Starcraft. And I want a whole season of it.
I can actually see this being developed as an actual animated series.
Fun, exciting, great animation and a quick little story that makes you care about the characters. Loved the unique farmers vs. aliens story - and love the very end!
This episode reminds me of Starcraft, the music is similar and the enemies too.
Zerg = DeeBee
Ultralisk = the big DeeBee
Solid episode. Great example how how much (or little) needs to be established to tell a good story. The animation style was neat and the character interactions were pretty organic too.
What? No tits? (unless you count the utters)
Very good. I'm a big fan of the style, old school drawings but with a modern animation. Very colourful but not too flashy.
It manages not only to develop a background and a story, but also to pull you in with the characters despite the short duration. Fun, tension, action, hope, sacrifice, loss, love, friendship, it almost has everything.
The mechas are cool, the fights too. Really a great short that could be developed further.
Mechs are always freakin' cool.
The art style was great, and reminded me - like many others here - of Telltale games.
Cool stuff. Not much short episodes can introduce so many characters and still do them justice. Those aren't generic faces, character building was great.
After this episode, I have admiration for farmers. Nothing like space monsters to bring a family together.
That was goddamn delightful, all the way through. It felt like a Pixar short exclusively for adults, and I mean that in the best possible way. The animation was great, the characters were great and distinct despite it being a short, the concept was cool. Definitely keeping this one around for when I need a pick-me-up.
This was an interesting one for sure, probably so far the episode with the most developed and likeable characters that it was actually intriguing to watch what would happen to them.
The animation was good, though not my favorite out of the bunch so far. I enjoyed the fight sequences a lot and especially the use of colors. The facial expressions of the humans however lacked a bit.
Also, shoutout to the fantastic score this episode.
Am I the only one that thinks this either could have made for an excellent video game or a longer running TV Show?
Maybe the show is finally getting me to turn my brain off but I actually enjoyed this.
There's no depth to any of it but it's a stylish 15 minute action short.
banal and wrong story.
they tried to insert feelings but in such a short time it is impossible to become attached to the characters and in any case the situation is nothing new.
the minions manage to overcome the defenses but this thing has no effect as if it hadn't happened, because the concentration is on the boss, boss who is blown up with a shot in the mouth ... in front of the hero who does not make a scratch. the plot in the last secondsare already more interesting than the rest of the movie.

This was glorious. The stunning stylised 3D art reminded me of the sort of thing seen in Telltale games (and, oddly enough, old LucasArts adventures like Full Throttle), but obviously much more detailed. And so colourful! Visually this just ticked all the right boxes for me. The story itself was exciting and felt pretty unique (farmers with mechs battling giant insect aliens) and allowed for defined characters to come through despite the short run time.
