Lovestruck in the City 2020

As many of us after watching the first couple of episodes I had my doubts wether if this was going to be good, turns out it was great, everyone take the risk and it pay off, the setting and character design was great and every one embody them at perfection.
THIS is for the broken hearts and also for the ones in love!
It will definitely go to this list, waiting for Winter to rewatch it!

Fun, Relatable, Full of Lessons

From the title and synopsis, the impression was this is a part comedy, part cheesy, part romantic, series. It was so easy to dismiss but I am glad I did not. Each episode are around 30 minutes long and they did well in telling the stories of the characters and their relationships while staying to a particular topic or subject in each episode.

I like the OST, at least what was used so far in the first 8 episodes. Good acting, the chemistry between the actors were great. Relatable story, romantic and yet light--not cheesy, not teenage drama, no serious political and family drama.

If you're looking for a TV show to break your existing serious line-ups, definitely pickup "Lovestruck in the City".

I loved this show! Great for binge watching if you're late to the party (of impatiently waiting for a new episode each week).

The shooting style is a bit different, unusual for Korean dramas (at least the ones I've seen so far) as it has a documentary / suspension of belief / breaking the fourth wall moments, which may not be to everyone's taste.

The unraveling of the characters' stories was quite fun to witness, but finding out more about them, their thoughts, views of life, love and relationships even more so. I think that's exactly the point here: discovering and sharing characters' inner worlds.

The characters are wonderfully real and layered. Their reactions are so much fun, as are their interactions.

The last episode didn't feel like the end, I guess because the entire show is like an excerpt from life, a collection of moments and thoughts. And life goes on. Things change and flow. Life is life. So anything can happen after 'the end'.

worth watching but it could be better , the cop story was nice but felt like a filler , the interview type show is cool but i felt the order of how her story could be the other way around

The viewer cannot connect with any of the characters whatsoever. Un-likable characters and poor story writing.
