"So unless you're a danger to yourself or others.."
...
"How's that ?"
"Great."
"Lovely."
"By the way, I changed the sheets on Decker's bed. She's good to go"
Damn I was really hoping he was god. That would have been fun.
SPECTACULAR! Pretty bloody amazing episode! TIMOTHY OMUNDSON everybody! Such a talented and great actor. His presence lightens the room (pun intended). Loved him every time he was on screen and even when he was off-street. I'm in love with the guy, what could I say.
Although it felt weird to see Cain from Supernatural and Lassiter from Psych playing God for a few minutes, though. I also loved that clerk whenucifer first talked to "God" because he also appeared in "Exexutioner's Song" in SPN where Timothy Omundson also did. I love those silly coincidences. I suspected something odd was going on when he didn't know his wife was on Earth and he didn't remember what he did to Lucifer in the first place but I blame on short term amnesia or something or even he trying to mess with his son. However, realizing he wasn't God all the time, but thinking he was made me a little angry. I really wanted the writers to show us God and for Timothy Omundson to play it, not for a buckle to give him the power of the divine and all that.
I know he wasn't really God but I wish Timothy Omundson would continue playing that role. He's so awesome and a freaking treasure for this world. He's a pleasure to watch. I kind of wished he'd stayed longer. His conversations with Lucifer were heartbreaking. And when Lucifer told him to apologize, man, it hit me right in the feels.
If there's a show called Timothy Almighty I'll watch the heliport of it. Binge watch it.
Maze was perfect, as always and Amenadiel is such a such a sweetheart. Poor Maze! If Lucifer goes to Heaven she's stuck on Earth and if she dies she goes to Hell and can't come back. I'm worried about her. And Linda getting all shaken when she met God, lol. I love seeing her discovering members of Lucifer's family, it ever ceases to amaze me.
just crap, boring and predictable.
Dad, Mom, and 2 children
I loved the addition of Timothy Omundson (Psych, Galavant) in this episode. I hope he recovers from a mild stroke he had the day before this aired. Such a good actor.
Yay the easter egg! The casting choice for God Johnson is beyond perfect. Not only because Omundson is an amazing actor but also because many years ago on Xena Warrior Princess he portrayed Eli - the character loosely based on Jesus.
Others will and have said it better with elaboration. But I need to put it down, this episode was bloody amazing.

I love those mental hospital episodes. How to get inside one as a patient? Just tell the truth. Loved all the scenes there, especiallythe one when Lucifer was explaining his plan to break out to the other patients: "You've all been chosen to help with a very especial mission called 'operation help Lucifer escape from the hospital'" and that arsonist's reply "Escape? But we get pudding here" Like a wise man once said: PUDDING! That woman with the pen was fantastic: "I want to turn the lights on...and off", lol. "I want to throw underwear at heads" "Laundry room", rotflmao.
"I love the mental aile. I mean, who isn't amused by someone who thinks they're based on Napoleon or Wesley Snipes", damn you Lucifer, lol.
Loved the "so this is your plan to bust us out of here: encouraging a man to steal underwear"
Favourite scene: that long shot when God and Lucifer were slo-mo walking through the hospital about to break out while the other patients were trashing the place. Man, the camera work, their complicity, the imaginary, it all made it absolutely appealing. Gotta love the writer of this show so damn much!
I guess the rest of the episodes will be focused on finding the remaining pieces of the Flaming Sword. I knew there was something wrong with Uriel saying "The peace of here" and I did comment it in one of my messy reviews. I'm glad to finally know it was "piece" all along, what makes me think, where the hell are the other pieces?
Other than that, it was an amazing episode. I knew it was gonna be so much fun, but I can safely say it exceeded my initial expectations.
