Lucifer: Season 3

3x25 Boo Normal

This was kinda weird, seems to lack proper editing, and it's so removed from any continuous story. For most of the episode Lucifer isn't there, I expect they had to rush it or something, or planned to edit in other scenes at a later time? I got good towards the end.

I think this episode should be classified as a special.

I liked this episode, and they brought back the haughtiness of what the show was like in the beginning, but... why is it here? The previous episode was such a turning point, and now this next one completely ignores it, and is complete filler material. If the show is cancelled, all the more reason to GIVE IT SOME KIND OF ENDING! Holy frick, Fox.

People please realize that episode 25 and 26 where never meant to be in season 3 but in season 4 and since Fox cancelled Lucifer they were going to waist but Fox then decided to air them anyway as an olive branch towards the fans. They weren't supposed to be the next 2 episodes of season 4 but just episodes that would come in that season.

what kind of boring episode, what happened of real story timeline

This was a terrible follow-up to the previous episode. And I didn't like Azrael one bit, I felt the actress wasn't very good. I remember the showrunners said that if Lucifer had been renewed the previous episode would have been the season finale and ep 25 and 26 would have been moved to be the first two eps of the next season. If this really was supposed to be the next season's premiere...wow, I have no words. I sincerely hope what other fans are saying about this episode being cobbled together from cuts and filler is true.

So... what!? Nothing major happened on the previous episode, right? Just another day at work!? Are you :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: kidding me!?????

Yeah, I know, 3x24 was supposed to be the season finale, and this one should have been 4x01 instead of 3x25. So what?! It doesn't make it any better. It's actually worse! You end a season in a huge cliffhanger, and then start a new season as if nothing changed!? Brilliant. Ugh!!!! :rage:

It's not a bad episode, it could have worked as filler in mid season 4. But definitely not as a premiere, or as a folllow up!

Hopefully Netflix will do a better job running this show instead of ruining it like Fox did.

What the hell did I just watch? Sigh* I am conflicted with my thoughts about this episode, I liked it, hated it, and at the same time appreciated it. The story did seem to be tossed together, and myself like everyone else expected to see and get some kind of closure to the series finale instead of being left in limbo. Yet, as a fan of the show I can appreciate them giving us something more yet not as good as usual so disappointed. I think they had part of the character Ella's (umm what's the word I'm looking for? I'll just say...) storyline and wanted to have a chance to share it with all of us fans. So I will say thank you very much for at least giving us that, now please give us a decent closing ending!

I played this episode on fast forward as it was quite frankly all filler and not interesting filler at that. I had to watch at normal speed again when the reveal about the "ghost" occurred but as stated by other people on here the editing and acting felt quite off. This could have been a good episode if it was finished but they clearly only had footage of Ella's storyline as it does not feature (enough) of Lucifer's.

The mere fact all the other actors had stilted comedy scenes proves (I think) that most of this whole episode consisted of cuts and filler.

Though it was a decent back story of Ella, this episode is 100% misplaced and I really just needed to look it up online as to why. Apparently this was a bonus episode meant to deliver key backstory plot points. :person_shrugging::female_sign:

The 'ghost-Azrael' actress was making me feel uncomfortable with her acting. Really weird and that eye makeup...just no.

SPOILERS FOR THE END OF THE SHOW

I am really disappointed, how they didn't do anything with Azrael and Ella throughout the show after this point. You could've had a great scene where Azrael shows up and Lucifer talks to her while Ella is in the room and that resulting in Ella finding out about Lucifer

Only halfway through but this really feels like an odd episode in the order that Netflix has put it in... should've possibly been mid or early season?

Edit: never mind, just looked it up and I see why this felt disjoined

I'm really surprised there was barely any acknowledgement of Chloe finally finding out about Lucifer! Other than that I liked the episode.

Episode focused on the forensic, outside the storyline, which after the finale series is a bit strange
