Sorry, but Lauren's face looks tight, like surgery tight.
Jane you ignorant slut! Chloe just had to tell a priest. The angry bald Scotsman from Outlander. Maybe Lucifer will have to kill him like Jamie did. I mostly liking where the characters have started out. Is that the same girl playing Trixie? It is but she's heading into her change years.
Looking forward to this return..
I loved the recap :D
What's wrong with Chloe's eyes ?
May I say it's good to be back in LA with Luci ?
So many editing mistakes that it's seem amateur. All in all good episode.
Well, he has returned. Solving the end of the season 3. Back to good style
This started so amazing and then Chloe had to go and sink the ship of the century. Bloody hell.
Well, that wasn't too bad... considering they had to recover from that terribly wrong season 3 finale.
The ending was intriguing... although I'm not sure I'm going to like what comes next. But on the bright side... hey, Douglas MacKenzie!!!
nah I dont like it that much. ill stick to what ive said, season 1 and 2 great... 3 mediocre... 4 not convinced so far.
I want to scream at Chloe!! “Lucifer you’re not honest with me!” Or “Lucifer you’re not forthcoming with the truth!” I’m so over it! It’s honestly frustrating how frustrating she is. Lucifer always says that he is the devil. She’s still complaining about him lying after seeing his devil face. How dubious did God make her to be?
eh... I'm not sure if I'm gonna like this as much as the previous seasons..
Let's hope it just needs to get up to speed a bit.
What happened at last scene in the church.
OK OK OK that's twist!.... i mean... holey shit..!
why netflix has this episode dubbed in hindi?
Well, with our without Netflix, the show looks and feels exactly the same (minus some details, like Lucifer's bald tooshie). I hope that'll be a good thing...
Unfortunately, this season premiere lacked spark and punch. It felt like yet another average episode, it didn't even feel that they were gone for a year. We weren't given anything to keep us hooked. It'll be hard for them to recover from that appalling season three... But at least the ending of this episode managed to keep me on my toes. Here's hoping this season improves!
Lucifer forever!!!! We want season 5!!!!
Worth the wait! The magic and fun that is Lucifer is BACK!
What a twist, wow!
This wasn't the reaction that I expected for so long.
i'm new here, how can i watch this? where's the video player?
Ooooooh, it's time!
I'm confused about how much time has passed in this show. They said "for years/years ago" several times, implying it has been at least 2 years since Ella joined.
"I will stay for as long as it takes." Awww, they've grown so close since season 1.
Wow, Dan hasn't been this big of a douche since season 1.
Am I supposed to feel sorry for Detective Douche? He knew Charlotte for, like, 2 weeks. And he's completely insensitive to the other people who lost her, including who he thinks are her step-sons. He was annoying all episode.
That ending... :O
Interesting how Netflix kept the same directing and tone that the series had on Fox. Makes this season flow with the rest of the show. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the cases have become any better. Overall, good first episode. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see Chloe's immediate reaction, but it looks like this is going to be a good season...

Great to see the show back and this was really good. Despite the flaws back. Like the U.S. Marshall having no reaction to Lucifer lifting him with one arm.

Words cannot express how excited I was for this show to finally return. Remember that agonizing month last year when we thought we'd never see the resolution of THAT cliffhanger? Thank you, Netflix. I wasn't remotely ready to say goodbye to these characters. Even though season 3 was a bit hit-and-miss in terms of storylines, I knew this show still had so much potential left and I'm so looking forward to seeing what this season has in store.
As far as season premieres go, this one definitely delivered. I loved how they handled Chloe seemingly accepting Lucifer, then revealing she's not as fine with it as she claims, then seemingly accepting him again, only to hit us in the face with that ending! I actually wasn't expecting it at all and I'm genuinely shook. I assume she and the priest are working to possibly banish Lucifer from Earth? That was my first thought at least, but who knows. I already feel gutted for Lucifer, imagine what will happen when he inevitably finds out. But at the same time, I kind of love the fact that we're getting a meatier storyline out of this. Bring on the angst!
We also had some nice moments like Trixie reuniting with Maze, who obviously now knows that Chloe simply didn't want an actual demon around her child, and Dan being comforted by Amenadiel. Those were very sweet moments. It's also nice that Amenadiel has accepted that he wants to stay on Earth. Character growth, baby!
I thought I would try to pace myself and not swallow the whole season in one day, but now my resolve is fading fast. I guess I'll have to ignore my responsibilities for one more day (it's not like I haven't done it for the past two months, at least today I have an excuse).
