Ironically, the episode I thought I wouldn't like based solely on the synopsis turned out to be the episode I liked the most so far. Really well done.

I'm not a fan of mixing live action and animation. There are a few notable exceptions to this rule, but generally speaking, I prefer those two styles to remain separate since most stories are fundamentally better suited for one than the other. I'll admit though that the cartoon segments were nicely done and entertaining, and I liked how they justified their existence in this episode by making them a product of a disturbed mind and long-buried trauma.

Excuse me? Daughter? Talk about a plot twist I did not see coming.

I'm sure Trixie is fine. First her mother demolished their house while fighting a demon and now she disappeared for God knows how long

This episode was so good until literally the last 30 seconds. they REALLY had to pull the surprise child trope???? like Lucifer is KNOWN for hating children. he literally does not like them and would never want one. A lot of people were hoping for a deckerstar baby and I was praying we didn't get one. I don't want to see Lucifer as a father; that's not who he is. I've never been upset at anything the writers have done until this.

Lucifer as a cartoon reminded me of Scoobynatural

I liked the cartoon. Lucifer's chin was awful to look at though.

This show always manages to surprise me.

And here's another page taken out of Fringe's book. We've now had a noir episode, a musical episode, and a cartoon episode. If that doesn't spell out the grave of a show, I don't know what does. Guess the only thing missing is an "it was all a dream" episode.

Every time I start to appreciate Linda, she goes and does something unethical again. Writing a book about a client and using the client's real name and information? Writing a book about a friend without asking them before you include details about their life? It's true to her character that she betrayed her morals for personal gain in that alternate reality episode.

I really don't like Chloe this season. And not in the way I disliked her in season 4. Here, she is unjustifiably an entirely different person.

Cartoon Chloe had the bullet necklace even though she hasn't been wearing it...

I saw the cartoon banner and thought this would be a terrible episode. Holy hell was I wrong. With my cognitive science background, I think this is the deepest, most realistic and meaningful episode of the entire series I've seen up until now. Real, therapy-accurate depictions of the sources of some people's pain. That hell loop is actually what people do in their own heads that only reinforces unhelpful beliefs and creates sadness/anger, and it's symbolic how it shows the door out of the hell loop, because people can do the same for themselves, too.

Bravo, Nathan Hope and Joe Henderson. Bravo.

Someone knows why the papers of Linda are written in wrong direction?

I actually fell asleep during the cartoon part. Not sure how much I missed lol

One thing is to watch cartoons/anime/animated movies but mixing live action with it it's def not for me.
