[NRK] The 24-episode Christmas calendar series offers an adventure influenced by H.C. Andersen and Charles Dickens which works in the concept of a Christmas tale but not so much in the visual approach. Despite having a high budget, it feels poor in the representation of Kristiania (Oslo in 1900), limited to two or three stages. There is an inclusive effort but little capacity to move away from the superficial.
