great acting through and through, but I couldn’t shake the feeling I had seen this already. Doesn’t do anything new and feels a bit tired.
Ah wow... didn’t think I’d like this but just binged first 5 episodes and gutted I have to wait for episode 6...
agree with other comment; it may start slow but it is worth it!
Dull story about dull people living in a dull town, ah and yes, there's some kind of detective story in there too I think, that's if you can sit through the drudgery of hearing about their dull lives! Binned.

Yes it does start a little bit slow but the characters carry a excellent realism to them that engages you into the story. Kate Winslet is incredible. Side Story with the daughter is tick the box culture which is the only let down otherwise this is a great TV series.
