Holy sh*t what an episode! That fight scene was off the hook!
The priest is such a great character and the fight scenes were outstanding as usual!
Fisk seem to have the upper-hand right now.
The fight scene here, played out over several segments is brutal, I see your knife and raise you some fire!
So they finally meet face to face. Now let them fight!
Holy shit...amazing episode! screenplay was so tight with all the back and forth in the timeline!
This episode made me suffer more than Game of Thrones 3x09...
oh my god this episode wow Matt try to get one on Fisk but he couldnt at least he defeated Nobu the one that was trying to kill him all along. I just cant believe that Matt would think he could get one on the great Wilson Fisk then Matt had collapsed on Foggy Nelson who finally found out that he is the masked vigilante superhero of Hell Kitchen
Murdock is finally realizing how over his head he is. When he first went on his quest to save Hell's Kitchen he never imagined he'd be up against a giant. A giant backed by image, power, wealth and support at every turn. He also never thought he'd have to potentially kill his adversary in order to save his world, even more so after he meets with Vanessa and sees her love for Fisk, and to a degree his love for Her. Murdock sees Fisk as not just a villain or a criminal, but a person who is loved and loves in return, someone who is human. And this moral dilemma is what keeps Matt Murdock from finding a solution to save Hell's Kitchen from being eaten by a giant.
This episode focuses specifically on showing how outmatched Matt is against Fisk and how lost he is. While Matt is playing checkers, Fisk is playing chess.
A great visual scene representing this situation is Matt fighting against Fisk in the abandoned building. No matter what Matt does, Fisk just towers over him, where Fisk's brute force easily overpowers Murdock, leaving him bloody, bruised and narrowly escaping to save his life.
The real surprise is at the end when Foggy, having heard noises in Matt's appartment rushes in and literally unmaskes the vigilante to reveal it's his childhood friend Matt Murdock.
It's no news the fight choreographies in this show are something else, but the sound editing in them is extraordinary too. And so underrated. The sound of Nobu's knife at the fight in the start literally gave me anxiety, like I was watching a horror flick. You get so scared for Matt knowing Nobu is a ninja (and/or supernatural?) and all Matt heard probably was the sound of the knife coming his way and cutting him like dozen times. I mean he already had a couple of really depressing and shitty days and then THAT happens.
Is the red or the black who will win the fight? What is certain is that the fight has been very good
Way behind on this I know, but loving this series!
Im so happy that old fart is dead she was si annoying
