I agree that the 2nd season was less boring than the first one..
I enjoyed the Ward Meachum's character development
I considered dropping the show when Danny suggested to Colleen to become the iron fist in his stead, that was just horrible. And then she agreed, which made it even worse.. It's called iron fist for a reason, it is not iron fists !
And that ending.. omg. Danny using guns must be the worst idea I saw in this show so far.
In the line of the first season. It's by far the worse Marvel/Netflix one, but it's a very easy watch.
Danny is still stupid and annoying as ever.
The Joy/Davos association doesn't make more sense in the long term.
Davos is a bit interesting but turns rapidly into a dull cliché villain.
Ward part is not that bad apart from the relapse.
The stealing of the Iron Fist part makes for a bit of an original plot point.
The fights are mostly underwhelming, specially the Iron Fist ones.
A lot is put on Colleen which doesn't makes much sense even with her finally revealed Iron FIst bloodline. Doesn't change she didn't get 20 years of 24/7 training in Kunlun, how could she measure up to Danny ?
Alice Eve is FUCKING AMAZING ! Give her a show of her own. Whether in the different facets of her character of in the fights, she is by far the best thing in this season.
Thought the first half of the season was kinda ok, but the second half was utter garbage....
It sucked less compared to season 1 where I wanna kill myself whenever Danny mentions anything about his chi. While on the other hand the second season's plot was a bit ridiculous specially Davos’ story line where he kept on coming for the something (The Iron Fist) that wasn’t really given to him. It’s almost like a kid whining to his parents what they didn’t give him that they gave to the other sibling instead, it’s maddening.
Loved the character development of Ward, i have to really applaud that. Joy went really downhill here for siding with Davos.
Mary Walker's character was a great addition, really stirred up my interest and made me wanna know more about her character's story more. Misty gave a really strong addition to the season, helped our main characters a lot, it really just shows how all the Defenders' stand alone shows are connected when characters from respective shows popped out on each shows to help, that was really interesting.
This season was slightly better that Season 1, but this was really a pointless story. None of the plotlines really move or change anything other than transferring the fist to Colleen. Davos is a bitch and may be one of the worst characters in all of the Marvel Series (I cannot overstate this enough). Davos reminds me of a carton where everyone is scared of someone walking into a room and it ends up being a mouse's shadow.
Well that was better than season one in my opinion.
I feel like they tried their best lol but it was not that bad like i feel iron fist's character is the one to blame here it's just not that interesting and they did all of their best to make it more excited, i guess? especially when they gave colleen the fist! that was crazy!!! like why did they do that?!! i guess that we'll have to wait and see if that's a good idea or not!
But to be completely honest, the best thing about this season was DD's new trailer... and ward! ward was great this season!
6.5/10
The fight scenes look a little better but this show is still sh**! Finn is just terrible and no one wanted the boardroom twins back!
All the women are perfect and all the men suck...gee I wonder who wrote this season.
The best thing that you can say about Iron Fist season 2 is that, like the first season, it is nowhere near as bad as its reputation. For my money it's not even the worst Netflix MCU show (Luke Cage gets my vote there). But it is decidedly not great.
The Original Sin of the Netflix MCU shows was casting Finn Jones as Danny Rand. He remains the weakest link among all of the Defenders + Punisher leads; and while his acting is still pretty pedestrian, he does make noticeable improvements to his fight choreography in this follow-up effort. The writers, as well, make improvements, as the secondary characters - namely the Meachum siblings - have much more to do and they doesn't feel wasted at all. And Jessica Henwick somehow shines even more than she did in season 1, with a storyline that is more grounded and a payoff that feels earned. Her budding friendship with Simone Missick's Misty Knight is fun to watch and offers promise of more to come from them. (Which, of course, we'll probably never get to see. Stupid Disney.) But best of all is the fact that this season is just 10 episodes long. This means less fluff & fewer filler scenes, and the plot moves along at a much better clip. And the ending? Wow. Probably the best final scenes of any Netflix show... with the disappointing knowledge that nothing will come from them. But still, such a great send -off.
Don't even get me started on this.It is the 3rd series from Marvel's Netflix Series after Jessica Jones and Luke cage and all of them were a disappointment.
This season began with Danny (the rich boy) by bringing down his pride from season 1,I think the director wants to create a suffering environment around Danny or something like that which creates a need for him to be the hero, the bearer of the immortal weapon. All
that sense of judgement, clarity Danny had in Season 1 is lost here,The fist is useless now, they are playing with it like Kids.Think of it as a toy
everyone wants it and everyone gets it.
I still don't like this show and if you love and respect Iron fist then don't watch it.There are some new character like Mary, the actress was trying hard but I was not impressed with her character.
The only thing good about this show was there are only 10 episodes.

Season 2 is less worse(only in terms of fight scenes) that the first season but it wasn't alleviated enough to be called a decent show. It is still consistent in being the worst Netflix Marvel show with dull and predictable story-telling. The last two episodes were relatively palatable.
Ridiculous things in season 2
-> "I want my stern parent's approval by any means" cliche by Davos.
-> Collen teaching the Iron Fist (who learned kung fu from the monks in Kun Lun all his life) how to fight.
-> Ward Meachum's redemption arc was warranted.
-> Davos training kids to cleanse to the city with a his newfound precipitous messiah complex. Can't the makers make something original?
Iron Fist only worked in his momentary scenes in Defenders and Luke Cage.
