Ok, so it's very cheesy, full of puns and unrealistic dialogue between characters and has a laugh track. But it's a Christmas series, essentially Meet the Parents at Christmas time, and there's just something easy about that. Some the character choices in the first episode actually weren't too bad and I've seen many worse pilots than this. I have a soft spot for the cheesy set-up/laugh track sitcoms of a bygone era. I'll keep watching, leading up to Christmas.
