I'm looking forward to this. I am rewatching season 1 right now and had forgotten how much I like it. It made me start reading the books.
That was our last episode...yuk! There must be better out there.
Season 1 ended on a very terrible subplot that was very much second hand shaming.
But I was interested in seeing how this would go on and honestly forgot how terrible this show actually got.
So I gave this first episode a shot. I regret that. It got even worse.
The tropes pile up, the characters get dumber for no particular reason (except plot in Manfred's case) and it's just awful to watch, especially Bobo and Fiji, blergh. Kill 'em already, their story is told.
Even completing the first episode was impossible for me without getting bored, annoyed or chased away due to stupidity and constantly horny ex-virgins not contributing anything to the "plot". Yeah, we get it, you saved the world by having sex. Move on.
Well, at the season 1 close I was skeptical but now I know that I am not going to watch a second season of this.
Still as lame as I remember it to be from last season. The issue pointed out by Jim G. in his comment is just one of the several less fortunate moments from this episode. At least the new guy looks promising (though I'm sure he'll end up being just another cliché character).
This show is definitely my guilty pleasure.
Finally a date for season 2! I feel like I've been waiting for ages!

Someone keeps a secret and causes way more harm than honesty would have caused. Now there's a plot that you don't see every day on television. Oh, wait. You do. More than once a day, actually. Nonetheless, I'd forgotten how much I like some of these characters, so I'll cut 'em a bit of slack as long as they don't make a habit of it.
