Now that Doofenshirmtz is in the show, it was only a matter of time before an episode that harkened back to Phineas and Ferb directly happened. And while this one isn't the best episode of either run, the fact remains is that Dan and Swampy animal secret agent universe they have built for themselves is so malleable that a story like this absolutely fits and works in both stories. On the one hand, you have this having the tone of a Milo Murphy's Law episode through and through, with the gags being long, more surreal, and dialogue based then before.

At the same time though you have that pesky Phineas and Ferb structure to work around and while it does it well, it does showcase how integral the second half was to the equation there - remove one aspect and it's not as effective. Thankfully, the episode overcomes this by simply being a creative idea executed with some really great humor, and sometimes that's all you need. Good stuff!
