Wait, it's all just methapors? Meh.
Overly preachy and hamfisted metaphors tackling topics ranging from abuse to littering. If you are expecting a creature-feature horror anthology, you will be disappointed. We get it, we’re the monsters. Grrr!
An updated twist on 'The Twilight Zone', 'Creepshow' series. Stories started out with promise but faltered midway thru with some becoming really stupid. My favorite was the fisherman and the mermaid story. Least favorite was the falling angels story.
Continuosly disappointing. It's really frustrating because the episodes are about 90% good, then just go off the rails or get sloppily wrapped up.
too many lows, not enough highs to enjoy this episodic anthology
Feels like the writers had 75% of a good idea and instead of fleshing it out they took LSD and shat on the page. Really not worth the effort unless you like being told your the problem all along ... which we know already ... give us something to escape from our own tragic, worthless existence.
Different stories that show the nature of monsters, whether they are real or imaginary. There is a certain tendency to squander interesting starting ideas, in almost every episode. But the viewing is worth it especially in the last one, "Newark, New Jersey", based on the story "The monsters of heaven" (2007, Nathan Ballingrud), which is one of the most profound reflections on grief and remorse of this year.
Don't let the voting percentage decide for you. This is going to have a wide variety of votes from low to high and they are all justified. If I went through and rated every episode they would be all over the place. Some episodes are great, some are tragic. Was it worth watching as a whole? Probably not, but the few episodes that I liked were worth it. Think of it as going to a record shop and skimming through the crates, you're going to find something you like, but is it worth the time?

Pretty well done (I watched the first 3), but really bleak & depressing. If you're looking for spooky Halloween escapist horror, this isn't it.
