when a rapist cries about being a victim of politics and feeling in fear for his life l m a o. i still hate the editing of this documentary but i enjoy all the interviews, especially those with his sister. she's one of the most rational and compassionate relatives to a predator i've seen on documentaries like this, able to speak candidly about the unfair treatment to her brother across the different facilities while also objecting to the notion that his illness excused or canceled out his behavior or that he could ever be fully trusted by anyone, professional or otherwise. obviously the direct victims of a rapist are dealing with the most severe trauma, but a lot of times it's easy to forget that there's suffering for those related to the rapist too and his sister handles the consequences of mulligan's actions and illness with a grace that i don't think many people could.
