I'm starting to really love all the characters and all their dimensions. Even though Mitsuru talks a lot and disagrees with everyone, I'm starting to like him more too, because he's not afraid to say what he thinks and it does help broaden my perspective a little. Also, it seems like his talking actually makes the house livelier.
It's so cute to see the family dynamic when the adult children live together under the same roof again with their mom. It really touches on the show's theme of loneliness, and it makes me wonder how lonely everyone might have been before they came together in the house. I really love seeing everyone's growth as they learn to live together again and interact with each other.
Asuka, a rich and successful woman, lives in a beautiful flat, but is lonely. Mitsuru lives in a small house with 4 other people, but their house is so lively and they have each other to talk to. It really makes me feel sad for Asuka. :'(
Also, I found it so endearing how Asuka says that she loves watching men get defensive gradually when she teases them, hahaha. I think only someone as honest and shameless as Mitsuru would be able to banter with her without getting upset. I'm totally shipping them, lmao.
