I quite liked watching this light novel. I find the story very well-developed. As a person who lives a socially isolated life myself, I understand the MC and his thinking style from experience, and I can confirm the (healthy) effects that socializing and friendship have on people, just like it does to myself. The comedy style is pretty smooth, I had a laughter on several occasions while watching it. I think the romantic part is also very interesting and describes fairly accurately how first relationships tend to develop in an introverted teen's life, specially a grumpy one.
The last season ended in a way that I didn't like much, since it left the love triangle open, but I suppose this is aligned with the "SNAFU" part of the anime's name. After all, Hikigaya didn't seem much interested in typical romance stuff, but rather in being around the two girls, Horikita and Yuigahama, as one can tell from his reaction to Horikita's love declaration in the last episode. I thought there would be a season 4 to show the development of Hikigaya's last school year, but it seems the novel has ended at this, which is another thing I didn't like much. All that said, it was a superb anime to me.
This is One if the best anime's there is
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru is my favorite SOL comedy from this past summer. It stars the legendary 8man (Hachiman) who is hands down one of my favorite MCs to grace the screen. He plays the apathetic loner role down to the tee but is hiding so much more depth (and badassness) in his character than meets the eye. Along with Yukino and Yui (and the other fantastic characters), the show piles on layers and layers of incredibly witty banter and dialogue that got me instantly addicted. There's no real slapstick humor (which is a good change of pace) and there are the typical high school SOL scenarios (although there is some variety). However, the show shines brightest with its superb character development and interactions. Nothing beats a great battle of words between Hachiman and Yukinon. Now, immediately go watch 8man apathetically save the day in the way only he can.
YES!! A second season has been green-lit and is coming (although we don't know when). This was one of my favorite shows from the past spring and 8man is one of my favorite male MCs to come around in a while. I've already read some of the next light novels and, rest assured, there is plenty of goodness to come.

the main character's voice acting and internal monologue is HILARIOUS and one of the many reasons why i absolutely adore this anime, not one bad season or episode, rewatched it all twice
love love love this anime
and in the third seasons, the conversation between him and Yui was heartbreaking but so well done, how he indirectly rejected her without actually saying it was so well written
I really liked the first season, but after that it dropped the comedy aspect and focused on the drama.
Season 2 onwards is indeed better looking, but very boring to me. Season 3 made me quetion why I even liked this show.
It is definetly not an anime that I wound recommend anyone to watch.
I enjoyed this anime despite the male lead being surprisingly anti-social through this anime. The comedy was funny and the characters meshed together pretty well.
When I first watched this series, for whatever reason, I wasn't all that taken by it. However after recently going back and rewatching the first series in preparation for series 2, I found myself enjoying it a lot more and wondering why I didn't last time.
A lot of the settings and scenarios are fairly standard high school tropes, but what elevates it above that somewhat is, as @deanzel says, the interactions and dialogue between characters, especially Hachiman, Yui and Yukino. It also does bring up some issues that a lot of us probably had at some point in school and our various social circles. And hell, I'm sure we've all felt like Hachiman at times. And whilst his deeply cynical attitude and outlook do seem to get the job done most of the time, it doesn't do him or those close to him any favours, something which seems to become more and more apparent the further into the series we go. There is some depth to the series and the characters, which is again something that elevates it above a lot of these standard high school shows.

Second Season was better than the first one. The best part of the series were the non-stop sarcastic dialogues which were awesomely delivered by the voice actors. Overall it was a good Anime to worth spending your time.
Edit: I don't remember why I liked the first two seasons but the third season (except the last episode) was awful and to be honest I don't even remember the first two seasons that well.
