This is actually so well done.
So I actually cried twice during this episode, which I did not expect lol. They really nailed the ambivalent nature of the times we’re in while very strongly developing the relationships of the show. Very impressed on this one.
Poppy and Ian :(((((( so damn sad and heartwarming at the same time. It really brought me too tears. And I can't believe I'm watching over a year later and this still is so valid, last year I was also feeling alone, scared, confused and sad, but for me this year has been worse in those areas, specially loneliness cause being from Latam I'm still not eligible for the vaccine and friends who care about the virus traveled to the US to get vaccinated, and friends who don't care about it are living their best lives with no fear or care, and a third wave is looking dangerously close, and also a lot of friends/people my age have been able to move on with their lives and get jobs/travel/be social and I feel stuck in the same place as last year so it's lonely, so I totally relate to Poppy. I feel like maybe last year I wouldn't have related that much cause in a way I did feel like alone stuck in our houses almost everyone was in the same situation, so I kinda felt like we were all in this together, all around the world, yeah maybe it's sick feeling a connection through misery and uncertainty, but even tho today 2021 I feel the loneliest I've ever felt regarding this virus, I'm glad a lot of people in the world are safe and doing better.
Edit: I just finished watching the next episode and I kept thinking about that hug, that's one of the best scenes I've ever seen in my life. So so so touching.
At this point I'm convinced that Rob McElhenney makes shows to find more and more ways to fuck with David Hornsby
This is BY FAR the best way I ever watched an incorporation of the corona pandemic into a show. Very, very well done!
I can’t believe I cried at a show like this. Completely unexpected, like episode 5. I also can’t believe I’m giving this show another 10/10 episode rating. Brilliant ending and poignant scene with Poppy and Ian. Bravo.
Best epilogue this mess of a story could have had.
Watching this now in 2023 is such a trip.
I really liked the cinematographic innovation to capture absolutely everything like a screenrecording and the familiarity of it all, since basically everyone had a similar experience. But other than that is was really thin.
Notwithstanding the amazing domino
Well that came out of nowhere, and somehow they absolutely nailed it. I was expecting the standard remote working hijinks, and there was some of that, but Poppy got pretty real pretty fast, and turned into a very genuine moment. And the ending was great.
Amazing episode with a crazy finish
a beautiful special episode highlighting what many of us must’ve been going through during the early stages of lockdown. poppy bring comforted by ian was beautiful.
what an end, make me cry
Just getting round to catching up on this now that Season 2 is airing and I have to say this was really well done. Great spirit considering the situation, with a good representation of the emotions we've all felt during the quarantine, especially with Poppy's breakdown and goofing around on Zoom. Solid stuff, this show is an underrated gem.

Great way to add to the show and really well produced considering the climate and format. I can't believe it brought me to tears. The Poppy breakdown was so real and I'm glad they highlighted how hard it is for those people who live alone during lockdown.
The final climax was awesome!
Also loved seeing the Aloy statue behind Rachel. Nice nod to Ashly's other work :P
