· NEO YOKIO has no plot progression so there’s no telling what can happen.
· NEO YOKIO has characters that are so barebones that it makes sense for them to say or do just about anything.
· NEO YOKIO infodumps enough about the setting in the first two minutes so that any weird thing in the background just integrates into it seamlessly.
Basically, this anime achieves perfection by doing absolutely nothing right to such a degree that it just… can’t get it wrong.

Mediocre animation, barebone characters, cringey dialogue, ridiculous writing, awful voice acting... Neo Yokio does everything wrong, and yet, I still enjoyed it. It's just so ridiculously incompetent that it's pretty much impossible that it was made bad unintentionally. I guess it's one of those "so bad it's good" works of fiction, and I'm thankful for it.
