Wow! That was a very profound, one sided conversation at the end, loved it.

Patient storylines were weak, but good drama on the doctor side

Reynolds' selfrigheousness stinks. Would he comit women who want abortions? Would he comit women who smoke or consume alcohol or otherwise don't take care of themselves and could potentially harm their unborn babies? Where's the line here? Contrasting that know-it-all attitude was Lauren's handling of the boy. She listened, she explained what she was doing and she ultimately did her best to ensure that both children get help. And then she gets snubbed by her addict mother's will... great.

Max and Wilder remind me a bit of Reynolds and Lauren in season 1 where he essentially dumped her because she wasn't black... now Wilder's declining a date because Max isn't deaf? Urgh. Granted, there'd be difficulties, still, what a stupid reason to not even try.

And that survey plot? First of all, how many surveys can you do in a couple of days (if even that)? And surveys can show anything you'd like if you just manipulate the questions.
