One of the best Chinese period dramas ever, mostly light-hearted and funny but has such deep sisterhood friendships with girls that I've never seen represented in a drama. This drama is second only to Yanxi Palace, and all the females in this drama are headstrong and dominant - even if they're gentle. You'll come to either love or forgive every single male and female character in this drama, and I kid you not - every single villa is character has a redemption arc??? It's SO GOOD.
