Surrealism isn't exactly a common thing in the medium known as television, most likely due to it being the most commercial medium around, making certain genres that would turn off general audiences far less common. This is a list that compiles the series that do tread in surrealist territories. Not all of these series are completely immersed in surrealism, but it's present enough that it's not just a minor element. Suggestions are welcome, especially for live-action series since I personally don't have way too much experience with that side of television.

- Within each group the entries are in no particular order.
- I consider all 3 of the Lord of the Rings movies to be top 6 but to save space I only put the first one on here.
- Only the first season of Eureka Seven is worth watching as it is a completed story and season 2 is horrible.
- Your Name, The Secret World of Arrietty, Eureka Seven, From the New World, Nichijou, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood should all be watched in Japanese.
- DARK should be watched in German.
