The writing is pretty crappy. Dialogues are aggravating to listen to. Always saying the right stuff to rile things up. Always escalate things for no reason other than drama. Yes, the series needs to start quickly, but the way it is done is just absurd.
Phone dies and that wannabe girlfriend "isn't answering any texts". Yeah, okay. Let's board a bus and drive to her through the night. Nothing creepy about that. The behaviour of everyone is terribly unbelieveable. Common sense doesn't exist in this show. The father is turning a blind eye on his kids verbally abusing each other and even participates by laughing. The different story threads seem easily predictable. The premise is nice but the execution surprisingly cheap.
