Brilliance itself is relative to the times in which the brilliant one lives. Einstein was not necessarily "wrong", but simply basing his theories on the information he had at he time, and then exponentiating on it to push the boundaries of what was then known. 50 years from now, these guys will be looked at either as geniuses, or as flat earthers, depending on what NEW discoveries have been made in the interim.
