I thought it was great... except the end. That was so unnecessary and frustrating that I actually groaned, although I guess I've been doing that a lot lately, since like season 3 or 4 (watching w/o having to wait for new seasons)
David was acting very out of character this episode, especially towards Hook! Ugh, it was just painful to watch!

It sure was fun watching David act out of character throughout the whole episode... Ugh! The twist at the end was interesting, but it just confirms how dumb this episode was. It was all about Hook showing he was not the man he once was, and we all know he changed and he's someone genuinely good now, but then he clearly shows concern about something very bad he did in the past. He's not that guy anymore, of course he did a lot of bad stuff while he was a pirate, but why worry about the past now? David would have to continue to act out of character to let something like that mess up his currently relationship with Hook. That Hook who killed David's father isn't the Hook that asked David for his blessing. But, of course, they have to feed the drama, no matter how.
