DAMN. As INTENSE as ever. Ugh I want more already!!
[Netflix] The final season closes the circle of the defense of the family unit and the power that wealth grants, whatever the cost: "Most people have the wrong idea about money." Perhaps S4 is far below S2 and S3, and shows the usual frustration caused by a series sometimes too focused on moving forward that forgets to go deeper. And the ending can be a bit disappointing, but it comes full circle in a consistent way.
Part 2 is trash, unfortunately the plot is now completely predictable. Either that or I’m magic.
A great season, but probably my least favourite of the 4.
well, I got 2 episodes that are perfect 5/5 stars from this season it was back-to-back episodes. The last 2 episodes were a little bit shaky on the writing side but still works on the story and how they played it out. And I respect the decision of how they ended it.
It’s completely crap. COMPLETELY. All the lines and even more how all they ends are about B soap series. I wish to unsee that.
Season 4 is right in line with the rest of the show. Garner continues to be exceptional, Linney is extremely impressive as well, and the tension of the Byrdes being pressured on all sides continues to drive the show. Perhaps the ending is a bit saccharine, but the show was always more about the plays Wendy and Marty could make than about consistency of secondary characters. It's a fun ride, though it's more about the ideas than any real plot conclusions.
fricking hell these two actors are s plus tier
Solid show from season 1 right to the end of season 4 with a good wrap up. Glad they ended it on their terms/story line.
9.5/10
absolutely one of the best tv series I've ever seen... just two problems, the final could have been little different.. second, that is ended!
