Comedy pilots are so-so but this was pretty good at establishing the characters. I already warmed up to them.
Some racial humor from an all-white cast (and writers, I assume) that wouldn't fly today.
One thing that called my attention is how amateurish it looks. Like someone picked up a digital video camera from a wedding and filmed his friends. TV is so slick today that this is refreshing.
