Great episode as usual, enjoyed it from beginning to end
one thing I didn't like was the death of the White Dragon
I mean for the amount of build up and tension, he went way too easily and didn't do much, I was hoping for more
also RIP Murn, you'll be missed.. I really loved his character and was hoping to learn more about his butterfly that went against their Queen
The Cow was something I was waiting for and I feel stupid for actually thinking it was regular cow, that thing is huuuuge and crazy looking, I'm just wondering if the cow feeds the butterflies, then what does the butterflies feed the cow?? it must eat to produce right!!
anyways great performance from John Cena, was really moving
Leota :
Maybe you should be backing off!
Harcourt :
Oh yeah?
Leota :
Yeah. Because you have been fuckin’ with me from the first day I got here!
Harcourt:
Well, maybe I could sense your interior asshole.
Leota:
My what?
Harcourt:
Like, inside all of this nice person stuff, you’re really just a fucking asshole!
Out of all the roles that John Cena has gotten, this is definitely his best and you can tell he loves it.
This episode was a little messier, not as much story advancement as much tying up loose ends.
Also, why does the judo guy need to keep popping up? He was fun the first time, but now they're just milking the "short" jokes.
Glad we got to see the cow , not sure what I was expecting though....
The cow is genuinely the stuff of nightmare fuel
Eagly takes a beating, the team gets some character growth and there's a cow
Wrapping up some arcs and getting us in line for the finale. Some solid stuff. Was not expecting the cow to be so massive but makes sense considering the output needed.
They're gonna need a bigger boat
Penultimate episodes are so good. This one turned out to be the real highlight episode for the team’s dynamics.
It is hilarious that Economos had a badass moment... again!
I don't know if it means that in the finale he is going to fail when everyone would be expecting him to succeed, but I hope not. It's more funny if he would ended up being mvp once again.
Mad props to the guy who plays Vigilante. I can't believe he made it all work.
they rushed the show too much. they could've easily filled in two more episodes with how much shit happened. Also, [spoiler] the green dude part of the episode was mostly unnecessary and could've been replaced with something more than just short jokes and him still trying to kill them[spoilers], overall I didn't like this episode as much as the rest of the show, hopefully the finale would be better
Damn, what a segue coming in from watching "Pam & Tommy" episode 4 to a Motley Crue song for the intro, and then the whole episode...
Powerful resolution of Peacemaker’s character arc, escaping the influence of his father and being able to move on from him. The hug from Eagly was such a great moment, it just feels conclusive since it happened before and it happens again.
The characters now also actually feel now like a team, which is great. Only the relationship between Adebayo and Peacemaker is pretty much broken as of now, but it can heal over time, they also haven’t had a proper talk yet.
7.5/10
There's no wrong time to rock!
A fantastic episode. Man this wa san emotional rollecoaster for Peacemaker. Chris was as a child raised into becoming this killing machine by his father, who never cared about him at all only using Chris for his own purposes, and Keith, the only person in his life who cared about Chris, died because of his father and what August made them do. And now, after being so emotionally wrecked by never having someone who he could connect to, he was betrayed by Leota, someone who Chris genuinally trusted and connected with. And in this episode, Chris kills his father, the source of all the anguish and pain Chris has been experiencing throughout his life, the person who ruined Chris. It was such a heartbreaking scene. Also, man Im shocked that I would feel so bad about losing Murm, he was the core of the team and the one leading them into missions, and now that he's gone, Emilia now has to step up as captian and lead the team into killing the cow, the source of the butterflies' food, to end the butterfly race. Also, man it sucks that Leota and Chris' relationship are completely fucked now, with Chris hating her, though I can't say I dont blame him. And, while I feel bad for her girlfriend, Im glad Leota is staying in the team, although its emotiioanlly exhausting with all the moral descisiosn she's forced to make as a part of the team, she really does fit well in it. And man, I'm surprised how emotioanl I would get at Chris watxhing Eagly almost die, though Im glad he's still alive, its clear he's been helping Chriis get through some emotional lows as someone who Chris values akin to his brother Keith. Also, I hope the squad kills this cow before the butterflies can teleport it away.
It ties all loose ends and give some resolution to Peacemaker as a character. Despite not having much progression in the plot, I don't think it's a bad episode. It develops Peacemaker, Adebayo, and Harcourt more, even though I hoped we could've seen more from how Peacemaker and Harcourt handled what happened in the episode. Characters in the show, though, do feel expendable, and I kept wondering if they'd kill Eagly. Thankfully they didn't.
A mess of an episode, felt very disconnected and the many emotional moments didn’t hit.
two characters die, one was long overdue.
can't wait to see how they can take down the unusually looking cow.
