Amy Acker is the true highlight, her performance as Root is enthralling!
Weaker than the ending of season 2 and I really struggle to like Shaw. She lacks the quirks that makes John interesting.
Wasn't particularly invested in the case of the week, but Root and Carter's stories, and Shaw working with the team? Loved it!
Absolute banger of a season opener. Laid the groundwork for everything to come. We've got Shaw working with the team, Elias rising again, Carter and her wall of HR and Amy Acker totally crushing it as Root. Every scene with her is a winner.
Interesting episode. It highlights how the military is not so simple, there are good things in it, and also the bad.
