It was only a matter of time before the show sunk it's teeth into an anthology episode, but "Terrifying Tri-State Trilogy of Terror" is phenomenal - openly using it's non-canon status as a way to deliver wonderfully spooky, hilarious, and subversive stories that also comment on each other in unique ways. The framing story is a great "Tales from the Crypt" reference while also having a funny payoff in itself, and each of the stories is unique in a way makes each of them stand out.

My favourite of these is easily the third one though, telling a classic monster/zombie movie tale but with platypuses, and it's both funny while also being an episode that could easily freak out younger audiences. This is a great selection of stories in a fantastic episode - easily a season highlight in a season of highlights.
