It was surprisingly affecting seeing them realize their reconnection was fleeting. Two people can mean so much to each other, find each other again, change each other’s lives all over again, and then move apart again. And it doesn’t mean they weren’t important. What you had will never truly die. And if you’re lucky, you’ll see each other again, and be the person you only really are with them. Honestly, I don’t see a need for a second season. This is about as fitting an ending as I could imagine for this show.

with the way this ended, I’m quite content on completing the series here. Or make it anthology to explore more platonic relationships with different ppl. idk just spitballing

Okay, I have to admit, I liked the ending, it was subtle and emotionally bittersweet. Probably don't even need season 2 at all.

Not the most climactic finish, but it worked for the vibe of the show.

Think I'll celebrate a solid season by kicking a scooter.

Probably not as sweet as Omar's drinks, but just enough to still fit well with the rest of the show. I'm happy they could influence each other for the better in the end, and even though they don't find themselves in the place they imagined at first, they seem happy and settling in.

Couldn’t stand how flat they chose to make the ending with this series. The series struggled at times, but held its own I think! Worthy of a more creative finale.

I must be weird or even evil, but I really wanted the show to go the other way. I wanted more discord, more drama and more Will and Sylvia. I wanted it to be more cynical and uncomfortable. The chemistry between Will and Sylvia is great while her husband is as fun as a wet blanket. I wanted Sylvia to change and to embrace her wild side, but in the end, the creators opted for a Hallmark ending. A good, solid Hallmark ending. The show seems to be as good as done, all ends neatly tied up. But it could have been more. Once again, the chemistry and the conflict were all there. It’s uneven, great at times and gruelling, too. But it’s definitely worth a watch.

I enjoyed the ending and felt like it wrapped everything up nicely. I liked the fact that this show depicted totally platonic friends of the opposite sex. Platonic is such an easy watch, with a mix of witty dialogues and great chemistry between Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen.

Will and Sylvia were never a couple, and I don't think ever wanted to be a couple, but the show is about how soul mates don't have to be romantic. I assumed the montage in Sylvia's mind was the moments of their friendship she was missing.

Someone finally calling Will on the kicking over scooters thing.

Most likely there would not be a second season and there shouldn’t be. The story is done, and was just the right length to tell its story. The final shot reminded me a lot of Broad City's ending.

I had my hesitations on the first episodes but they grown on me. All of them were great.
The ending was what the show needed, they don't have to do a 2nd season, there is no reason to it, it cannot be justified.
Great little gem

Such a predictable ending. The friends fight and make up at the end. Seth Rogen's character is such an unpleasant selfish a--hole.
This should have been a 90 minutes long movie, at best.
