Despite my reservations about this show, this was a pretty amusing episode. I've never been able to warm to Rose Byrne for whatever reason, so maybe this show will help with that. The two leads must have some chemistry having done movies together before, so perhaps I'll raise my expectations.
This was better. Much better. Seth Rogen plays a charming and very amusing character. On the other hand, the family stuff with all the children is completely uninteresting and unfunny to me. We’ll see how it goes.

Selling me on it a bit more, I’m a sucker for relationships,romantic or platonic, that in one light can be toxic and destructive and in another empowering and freeing. Like yeah I’m sorry I’m going to root for the friendship conventional society frowns upon once the woman starts acting wrongly over the constraining family structure clearly eating at her.
