Elrasiel, the comment to which you’re responding was written in 2017, before this show was even made. There are comments on other episodes as well that appear to refer to episodes of Pokémon for some reason.
Regarding The Witcher, the episodes seem to me to be more like a mosaic then a straight story line, with the picture gradually coming into focus as each piece is put into place. I’m not sure that it’s a work of art, but I’m having fun.
The show doesn’t deviate from the games because it’s based on the book which takes place BEFORE the games. This is literally the prequel, explaining all these characters origins.

The further you get into this series, the further it deviates from the games. If you can accept that, this, this was fun and enjoyable.
