The British know how to make great police procedurals and this one is good with the added appeal of being the origin story of Jane Tennison, the character so brilliantly played by Helen Mirren in the original PRIME SUSPECT. Stefanie Martini brings beauty and class to the role of the rookie Tennison. Good story, good acting. I give this series a 7 (good) out of 10. [Police Procedural]
