I started watching this and thought "ohh, i might like this show!" but then, after it went into this whole, slightly exhausting "how it all began…"-flashback in the first episode — and then the next episode and the next, I realised that the ENTIRE SHOW is the flashback / background story to some very captivating first minute teasers. I then continued to watch it for a few more episodes, in desperate hopes of FINALLY getting back to the good bits, but I'm finding myself more and more annoyed / bored / impatient with it and will probably leave it at that. For me it's a case of having gotten seriously misled by a certain kind of aesthetic and then underwhelmed dramatically.
This series rises and falls on the performance of Alice Braga. Her portrayal of her character and her struggles really captured me, as she just tries to survive the violence, greed and drugs of the world she into which she was born. After I was hooked, It seemed an eternity between each new season, and although it was sad to see it conclude, I’m pretty sure I will binge it all again, when the streaming services catch up and drop the fifth season. I give this series a 10 (favourite) out of 10. [Crime Drama]

I was ABSOLUTELY HOOKED on this show from ep.1 and binged watched it like there was no tomorrow! Wish there was more seasons of it! SOOOO GOOOOOD!!!

Fantastic show, the actress playing Theresa is a good actor. Good supporting cast as well. My only complaint is that the season doesn't have enough episodes - over too soon. Can't wait for season 4!

Decent first episode. Good production value. Should be interesting to see if the series continues to deliver beyond the pilot.
It started of interesting, but I find it getting more boring and repetitive the further through the season I get. I just honestly don't really have the urge to finish it.
In my opinion this is easily a top 5 show for me. I'm not a 10 out of 10 hearts rating kinda guy, but this show ... 10 hearts, no doubt.
Perfect plot, great acting and characterization and all seasons are evenly thrilling, without dull moments or dragging episodes.
Highly recommended and a absolute re-watch in the near future for me.
Good but nothing like Banshee
I wonder why she’s doing all this, she doesn’t seem to be enjoying the wealth, they should have some Miami vice montages of her and Pote on a speedboat or something or driving a Lamborghini, she goes from one problem to another and manages to get a swig of tequila in and maybe a plate of food leftovers from a wedding wtf!

Overall a really great show with an excellent cast, great acting and some excellent story lines even if the 'this gang v that gang' was beginning to get overplayed by the 4th and 5th seasons. Really enjoyed it though and would have rated it a 9 but dropped it to an 8 because of the series finale which felt rushed, the ending story maybe should have started from ep 7 or 8 to give it some more impact at, they could easily have done so at the expense of a lot of the soul searching and reminiscing in S6 of which there was way too much IMO.
What an amazing show! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to watch an action crime series. I have enjoyed every minute of it! I liked the performances of the main actors, especially that of Alice Braga. I loved to see the characters struggle and go through ups and downs. Some of them developed really well and I'm here for it!

Been watching since series premiered... Can't stop watching I love this show
This is a new discovery for me, even though it is in it's 3rd season, and it has become a favourite (even though it is muy violento. The acting is spectacular. Alice Braga layers her performance with a convincing vulnerability that humanizes the whole narrative. The changes in her character and her decisions are credible and the whole work has the hallmark of a dynastic drama. I binge watched the first 2 seasons and am now confined to episodic instalments, but it hasn't lost it's appeal. I give this series a 8.5 (great with moments of superb) out of 10. [Crime Drama]
