First off, glorious soundtrack. From the first few scenes the show grabbed me with its amazing visuals and animations. The story was interesting enough to keep me looking forward to what's going to happen next!
Fantastic characters too. Even the ones you end up hating. You know who you are, you coward (season 2, last episodes).

The first season was great, I had my doubts but in the end I enjoyed it a lot.
But then the Fire Nation attacked... Season 2 is meh, it's like watching half of Avatar the legend of Aang and the other half the legend of Korra in the same show.
