Everything is on the light side with this anime. paper-thin plot, stingy animation, ken-burn galore, info-dump world-building, cardboard characterisation.... Any lighter and you'd be seeing right through the screen. Feels like the production team is telling us to fill in the blanks they just couldn't be bothered to work on. After all, we know the drill. We've seen a thousand just like this one before. I guess you could call this isekai-lite, and not even have it be an oxymoron.
