Full of humor and Alan Tudyk is brilliant as always. Definitely a keeper but it’s on SYFY the cancellation network.
Great start - the "mission" was a bit obvious.
"I like your brown skin" + "...because of your truck" - Nearly fell off my couch laughing...
As much as I love comedy in my sci-fi, I think I like even more of sci-fi in my comedy and this one hit every note so far. Hopefully it can last longer than stuff like 'People of Earth' and maybe even go the whole way like 'Future Man'
Really impressed with the pilot. As others have said Alan Tudyk is amazing.
OMG! This show is breath of fresh air. This is worth watching. Hilarious! and well produced. :100::heart::thumbsup:
It's off to a decent start, with jokes that land much more often than not. I love the small mountain town setting (memories of Everwood). In terms of characters, it's Alan Tudyk who stands head and shoulders above everyone else at this point with his endearingly quirky performance.
Any theories on why the aliens want an extinction event? Besides categorizing humans intelligence as below sustainable,,,
Much needed black comedy that I can't get because Barry's new season isn't nowhen soon. This might do the trick.
Could be interesting. But I guess things will be played safe. I truly hope there is no romance with Asta! The missing dead doctor's body will turn up. I can see he will be accepted by the boy who can see the real him. Then come to love Earth... season 2 this friends arrival from out of space to see why he hasn't completed his mission.... Yawning already.
I thought it was pretty cute. I always forget he was Alpha.
I liked the little boy scenes, classic.
Predictable but well worth a watch. Let’s see how the season goes. Def has potential.
Honestly wasn't as bad as I expected. You can blame the trailers for that
Actually pretty decent for a pilot, and there's been some doozies lately. I'll definitely keep watching for now.
After lurking in reviewsville for ages, I finally took the plunge! The debut episode was a riot – a funky blend of offbeat humor and sci-fi craziness. Can't wait for the next episodes! I'm kicking myself for not hopping on this laughter train sooner.
Very humorous pilot episode, I expect it to become a good series. Nice storyline or plot to begin with
I'm overjoyed about Alan Tudyk getting his own show, he's one of my favorite actors in Hollywood, and getting this lead and how good this pilot episode means that this will be a good series, as writing this review the series already has a second season and I think the 3rd season got renewed, and I'm happy for him.
Thanks to Trakt I discovered this, the pilot was hilarious! Laughed out loud by myself which I've not done in quite some time. Fantastic!
A more adult version of 3rd Rock from the sun.
He even resembles John Lithgow.
I liked the pilot. Surprised me.
A pretty decent pilot — Alan Tudyk is a treasure.
Alien looks pretty good.
Seems he physically transforms to look like a human based on the opening sequence, so I wonder why some people (i.e. the kid) can see through that completely because of a genetic mutation?
I love the Firefly alum. That's the only reason I checked this out. It has great potential.
Such a good show the Doctor is the perfect alian i saw him on dollhouse and some movies don't remember.
He fits perfect with his looks ^^
