Best episode of the season.
Did all the writers go on vacation and leave the temp to write this episode??
“I used to think I was just a regular white woman, then I discovered that I could control my destiny”
“All white woman think that”
The writers are too obsessed with incest jokes.
Two amazing episodes in a row. This was classic Rick and Morty as nothing more than a demented adult Doctor Who story, and it did that job perfectly. Obviously heavily influenced by EEAAO too, but that's no bad thing. Reminds me of why I watched this show in the first place.
Lol how much did Panda Express pay for this 30 minute commercial
(7.5/10)
This episode starts with the family eating out at panda express when they all eat fortune cookies and jerry gets a... lets just say its something he definitely doesn't want to happen. The TikTok parody jokes in the start are pretty funny but that's all Morty and Summer really do throughout this episode.
Jerry starts obsessing over what the cookie said and Morty and Summer make fun of him for it (which is a really funny montage) but Rick thinks something is up so they start to investigate and eventually after some funny hijinks at panda express they find themselves at a strange factory where the cookies are being made. They sneak through with fake uniforms that they get through a good sailor moon reference. They find out that the company are using an alien to control fate for prophet. The fight scene at the end is really good and it would fit in with the early Rick and Morty fight scenes that we all know and love.
Overall a good episode. Would've been better without as many 1ncest jokes.
What’s great about Rick and Morty is the depth of equally creative and crazy sci-fi stories put together with smart writing and humor, and this episode was a prime example of that. One of the best of the season!
This episode was surprisingly light hearted fun ( the killings aside) and it's probably my favourite episode so far.
Yet another episode that has to do with incest?!?!
Wait! This isn't how "your mom" jokes work!
“Oh no, I’m so wet!”
Great episode, light and needed
Fun and ridiculous episode. That's what we watch this show for. The Sailor Moon reference tickled me.
Jerry episodes aren’t my fave and this just felt like a way to milk the stupidity and gull ability of his character. Weak but good in places
Well one thing is for sure — the Taxi theme slaps
the writers are obessessed with incest :skull:
Pretty solid episode, definitely top 2 of the season so far, not that that's saying much. I like the Jerry and Rick stuff and the whole fortune cookie idea is a super fun one, even if it could've been fleshed out a little bit more. Didn't love the villain, but she was okay. Writing wise everything seemed fine, although the pop culture references were a bit grating and the kids seem way too cruel in the beginning. On a more positive note, I like when Rick and Morty episodes are confident enough to completely abandon having a B-plot, which usually leads to a much more interesting and fleshed out A-plot. If the rest of the season stays at this level it may have a fighting chance, but I'm not holding my breath.
I literally had to come back here to remind myself what this episode was about. It was a fun diversion, but so far this season lacks the punch and quick wit of earlier seasons. We seem to keep waiting for a payoff to an ancient plot that is all but forgotten by even the writers. Until then.... wubbalubbadubdub??
lmao this is classic rick and morty!
I loved this episode. p.s. I would also use Jerry as a shield against bullets
Pretty good episode. One of the better ones this season. Again the schtick runs thin by the end, but it's better.
Best one so far this season

Wouldn't it be stupid if an entire Rick and Morty episode was about Jerry being destined to have sex with his mother?
Oh right, we're in the worst season, so of course that's what the story is.
Think about possible good stories and interesting concepts for a Rick and Morty episode, and hopefully you'll realize this episode scraped the bottom of the barrel.
